Essential oils are the 100% essence of the plant. They are obtained by distillation or purging of flowers, fruits, seeds, stems and leaves. Most natural cosmetics lovers believe there is no cream without essential oils, probably because essential oils enhance the properties and performance of the preparation, provide a pleasant smell but additionally preserve the preparation. But like any natural preparation - they have a certain power - and they need to be smart and carefully dosed.

We have taken the skin for granted aldough, believe it or not, our skin is our largest body part and on average it has 1 to 2 square meters. Skin thickness is 0.2 mm (on shutters) up to 4 mm (palms and tabs). The average acidity of the skin is from 4.5 to 6.5 pH. Why is it good to know these facts? Knowing the texture and function you will find it easier to choose the treatment or preparation that suits you best.
